Pick A Number. Any Number.
A couple of years ago, I shared a few of my favorite quotes in here and asked everyone to pick a number before reading them. I loved how meaningful it became. So I thought we’d do it again with a fresh set.
Before you read the list, pick a number between one and ten.
No need to overthink it. It’s just for fun.
Whichever one you choose is your message for today.
It may not change your whole world, but sometimes God can use a small truth to lighten a big load.
Okay, here we go.
1. The mind exaggerates what the heart refuses to hand over to God. Give it to Him and the fear loses its power.
2. Worrying will not prevent disappointment. It just makes you live it twice. Once in your mind and once in reality. God gives grace for today, not for the what ifs of tomorrow.
3. Every time you measure your worth by numbers, you shrink something sacred down to something countable. And heaven doesn’t measure that way.
4. You don’t pray to inform God. You pray to involve Him. And when He steps in, nothing stays the same.
5. The part of your story that feels like a pause is often the part He points to later and says, That’s where I did the most.
6. You keep praying for clarity, but clarity usually shows up after obedience. Take the next right step.
7. Every miracle starts with a moment that looks like nothing is happening. Don’t confuse what your eyes can see with what God is actually doing.
8. There is no season so silent that God cannot speak into it, and no heart so tired that He cannot lift it again.
9. Not every delay means you did something wrong. Some doors stay closed because God knows what’s behind them.
10. Nothing is ever wasted in God’s hands. He brings beauty out of chapters you thought were beyond repair.
