Of all the 30 Days of Design, if you asked me to pick a favorite so far, normally I would say whichever one I made last. But this one is different.

I designed this bracelet months ago, and have been wearing it ever since. And somehow, I love it more every single time I put it on.

If you’re a silver girl who has decided you might need exactly ONE piece of gold into your jewelry collection, this may be it. If you’re a gold girl, this one may need to be added to your collecction.  And if you’re neither a silver nor a gold girl, I’m still so glad you’re here. 

And thank you for letting me take a little pause yesterday. I went to Arkansas to see my youngest daughter, Peanut, and getting to just be together again was worth every mile.

The only problem with getting to see your kids after they leave home is that you eventually have to say goodbye all over again. For all the moms who are learning how to say goodbye a little more often these days, I’m right there with you. I told Peanut, as I was getting ready to drive away, that instead of us being so sad to leave, we will just focus on the joy of having spent time together, albeit very short.

This bracelet is made with beautiful translucent Czech glass beads in shades of deep teal, ocean blue and touches of green, paired with substantial cast brass beads made exclusively for the Jill Donovan collection.
