Day 10 - Monogram Moment (Gold)
Welcome to Day 10.
Someone asked me this week where I get the inspiration every day for each design.
The answer is: everywhere.
Sometimes it comes from a color I can’t stop thinking about or something I have saved on my phone for six months and completely forgotten why. But TODAY, it comes from something I have loved for as long as I can remember. Monograms.
I love a monogram an unreasonable amount.
Give me three letters and suddenly I think something is better. Whether it’s a piece of stationary, a towel, or a tote bag bag. I could go on and on If I could monogram my dog, Tucker, I probably would.
At some point I realized I had accumulated so many monogrammed pieces that I started actively looking for people who shared my initials so I could give them away. I’m not kidding.
Monogram Moment: Faceted Czech glass rondelles in smoky gray with hints of blue are mixed with cast brass beads in an organic, hourglass shape. Small 18k gold-plated spacers are placed throughout to separate the glass and brass.
At the center is a square cast brass piece with softly rounded edges and a deeply engraved circular three-letter monogram.
